It's just always easier to write about st...K,

It's just always easier to write about stuff that bugs you. However, I did laugh out loud at the way you described the idea of someone finding your box of crap and making up a whole story about you. Heh.

I wonder if it would have been better without the web stuff at all? I mean, maybe the book would have been more satisfying without all the disappointment? I don't know. It just seems like the poor execution there dragged down the book experience a bit.

The magical time transcending stories are always to funny to me. One of my favorites is this one cheeseball romance novel (I have no memory of the actual name) where the woman decides to go back to the past like 800 years and live with her lover, but she gathers up a bunch of tampons to take with her before she goes. Hah! Same sort of thing in Midnight in Paris where he points out that the advances in medical technology makes it sort of hard to justify leaving the present.

I do appreciate a book that brings it all together successfully at the end, that's for sure. It sounds like a fun read.

I've been making progress with The Swerve (my Feb book) and hope to finish it soon. I'm about halfway through, but it's only about 250 pages. I've just been so slammed at work as of late that I've been making the slowest progress even thought it's **fascinating** and I can't wait to tell you all about it. It seems like it would be a good audiobook, maybe?

Speaking of audiobooks, I did an audible trial and forgot to cancel it, so I did download The Night Circus (have only listened to about 5 minutes of it), but then with my remaining credit before canceling today, I got Moby Dick. It's by the Sea Wolf reader, and I've always wanted to read it and never have. One of these days, it's going to happen! Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13205737257301534685noreply@blogger.com
